ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Statement

It is the policy of H.I.S. 2002 Ltd to control our operations and processes so as to prevent the release into the environment of any undesirable material in either solid, liquid or gaseous form that may cause damage to the environment or infringe consent or control limits.

H.I.S. will treat waste material where possible to meet local conditions for disposal on/off site, where off site disposal of any waste is required this will be undertaken in strict accordance with the Duty of Care regulations as currently in force.

Control of Waste

The disposal of waste materials will be controlled by documents produced on a job specific basis. The documents provided would consist of:-

• Environmental Risk Assessment  
• Effluent Description Schedule  
• COSHH Assessment  
• Health and Safety Data Sheets 

The above documents will be submitted to the client for approval and agreement of procedures prior to work commencement.

Asbestos

In line with current legislation we do not use asbestos based materials for gaskets or seals or for any other purpose.

Sub Contractors

Where off site disposal is required under our scope of supply only reputable fully licensed carriers would be used, these would be nominated for client approval prior to award of contracts
